News from Christ Church Baptist

Three years ago Matthew Cooper accepted a call to be the minister at Park Street Baptist Church and, after leading Christ Church since 2006, left Kings Langley.  Since then Christ Church has been without a minister, being served Sunday by Sunday by a mix of visiting preachers and some of their own folk.  Week-time activities have continued and the calendar has stayed as busy as ever.

Now, though, Christ Church is preparing to welcome a new minister.  Revd Matt Powell and his wife Tash are moving down from Leeds and Matt is being inducted as minister at 2pm on Saturday 15 November.  The church will be delighted to see any friends who can come at that service, which will be followed by refreshments.

Matt and Christ Church are really excited for the future, as they work together to build God’s kingdom in the church and in the village.
