The amount raised at our recent Action for Children service was £360 – a wonderful result, thankyou.
Please note :
Sat. 19th - the car park will be in use from 11.00 a.m. until late that evening, although entry to the building is not affected.
Sat. 26th – there is an all-day booking, so please ‘stay away’
Sat. 12th District Synod is being held at Harpenden
As you will have heard in the notices, help is still being sought. If you are able to fill a ‘slot’ please refer to the details/form on the table at the rear of the church
Abbeyfield Friars Mead - The next service will be on Tues. 15th at 11.00 a.m.
The Bible Study Fellowship will meet at on Weds. 9th and 23rd at 2.00 p.m.

Christian Aid Charity Meal at La Banq
This popular fundraising event is booked for Mon. 9th Nov. Publicity and ticket sales ( £ 23 pp ) will commence on 20th Sept., so check your diaries now !

Talent Survey - we still need volunteers for several vital roles – but it’s never too late to come forward. Please bear in mind that everything listed needs to be done by ‘someone’ !
Food for Thought
Did you know that failure to appoint a Safeguarding Officer is actually sufficient grounds for church closure ? We must fill this office at the autumn Church Council.
