Methodist Church

We are a relatively small church, which gives a family feel to our worship. There is a strong sense of fellowship and visitors are always made welcome. There are several mid week activities, including a prayer meeting, Ladies Circle and Methodist Guild, where worship, discussion and outside speakers lead to an enjoyable afternoon or evening. Various social events are arranged during the course of the year. Our building is also well used by a number of groups from the village, and we aim to offer a spiritual resource to the wider community. Our church is part of a 'circuit' of other Methodist churches in the Watford and Rickmansworth area. Sunday worship is therefore led either by our Minister or a wide selection of preachers from around the circuit. Once a month we all stay behind for coffee so we can socialise after the service. There are also monthly communion services. An important part of our mission is the ecumenical work that we do with other churches in the village, local and national organisations such as Christian Aid. We always look forward to welcoming new people into our church family, whether as occasional visitors or regular worshippers.
